Veterans Day at CREW: Your Entrée Is On Us
Veterans Day at CREW: Your Entrée Is On Us
Wednesday, November 11, 2026 · 8 Shore Road, Ogunquit
Some thank-yous belong on a card. Ours comes on a plate.
This Veterans Day, CREW is giving every veteran a free dine-in entrée, all day long. Breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner, come in when it suits you, order what sounds good, and let us take care of it. It's our way of saying thank you for your service.
Why November 11
Veterans Day started as Armistice Day. Fighting in World War I stopped at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918, and November 11 became the day the country paused to remember it.
In 1954, Congress changed the name to Veterans Day so it would honor American veterans of every war, not only World War I. Congress briefly moved the holiday to a Monday in October, then returned it to November 11 for good in 1978, because the date meant too much to give up.
Memorial Day honors those who died in service. Veterans Day is for everyone who served, in wartime or peacetime, and especially for the living veterans among us. That's who we want at our tables on Wednesday.
